Privacy Policy

Time-Line (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by Cole Perry. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you use the Time-Line mobile application (“App”).
1. Information We Collect
We collect account details such as your name, email, username, date of birth, password, and profile content. We also collect the content you post, direct messages, comments, reactions, and any optional place names you attach to Moments. Device push tokens, usage data, and log data are collected automatically to keep the app running and secure.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and manage your account, display your profile and content, deliver notifications, support social features such as BFFs and groups, power gamification features, detect abuse and spam, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising targeting.
3. How We Share Your Information
Your username, profile photo, bio, and Moments are visible to other users. Direct messages are visible only to you and the recipient. We use service providers such as Supabase, Expo, Apple, and Google to operate the app under data processing agreements.
4. Data Retention
We retain account information and content while the account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete personal information within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You can update your profile information in the app, disable push notifications, and request deletion. California and European residents have rights to access, delete, and restrict certain personal data. To exercise those rights, contact us at support@join-timeline.com.
6. Age Restriction (18+)
TimeLine is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We require a date of birth at registration and deny access to anyone under 18.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections and secure cloud storage where possible, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any material changes will be communicated in-app when appropriate.
